If I recall correctly, we were talking about this verse because lots of 'new agers'/'eastern religions' practice meditation. And another thing brought up, way you can interpret this, is that those in control are willing to make plans for things 50 years in the future, and just slowly march foreward. The beast system really will plan things 100 years in advance. That's a lot of sitting around waiting for the gematria to turn out perfect for an event. This also reminds me of vampires living forever. Vampires are often depicted with a certain jadedness/ennui, like they could just sit in a coffin for a decade and be equally amused. Like they (vampire like entities) made plans for 500 years in the future and they're waiting around for it to come to fruition.

Like Daniel was granted authority by Neb, Joseph was granted authority
by Pharoah.
Joseph was given Pharoah's ring, which I think was egypt's royal
signet ring, for stamping official documents with wax.
So near full control of the kingdom with little oversight as they
could sign off documents themselves directly.
Those certificate ribbons (ribbon 33 pyth) come from wax seals,
sometimes the wax seal had a ribbon attached.
Also Joseph had a gold chain put on their neck, which modern day
rappers seem to love doing.
I appreciate the comparing/contrasting of Daniel to Joseph. Joseph was the coat of many colors guy, right?

also i think neb was probably eating grass for more than 7 days as
their hair became like eagle's feahters and their nails like bird's
claws.
7 days used to be a long time though so i dunno.

the number 7 can represent Large and Powerful (in my opinion) in the old testament. So the seven days that Neb ate grass could have been longer than just a week, but the number 7 is used symbolically to mean a decent while, and maybe nobody remembered exactly how long. Or maybe it was just 7 days, and he did transform into a beast really quickly. I wasn't there. But I do believe that the number 7 was often used symbolically in the Bible and didn't litterally mean 7, necessarily.

Christ Taught About Faith, Child Like Faith

T Z: One of Christ's most important teachings is Faith. I believe Faith begins with what you were alluding to, the implicit trust that children have in their parents. Or should have. Within that is innocence, something constantly abused in this world. And abused maybe for this exact reason, to seek to distort, corrupt or sever the connection to God through it. That innocence is unconditional trust in God, which is Faith. Christ is constantly saying 'Oh Faithless generation' to provoke attention to it. Faith in moving mountains. Christ had total faith in God and was able to work miracles. Faith is therefore the highest magic available to mankind, understood by Christ's example. And most of us haven't even begun to understand how massive a deal faith is.

Notes: The idea of child-like faith always reminds me of the general plot of most cristmas movies. The children's pure faith in 'santa' is what powers the magic. This is an allegory for the kind of faith we are supposed to have for God, and how that faith is what powers the 'magic' that will enable us to one day move mountains.

demons have known about the end

B: I was re-reading Matthew and I never noticed that the demons knew of Revelations before John wrote it down. This was during Jesus Christ time on Earth and not after. I personally believe that the demons/satan knew of their demise since the beginning as God allowed them to do their deeds. People focused on this confirming that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and skipped realizing the rest (at least for me). I know it's something small but still interesting. God bless you. "28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. 29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?"

Notes: Not a lot to say about this. But it's similar to how demons knew who Jesus was beforehand, as well. Makes you wonder if Jesus was up in heaven in the flesh already (glorified shining body, perhaps) when the 1/3 angels fell with satan. Makes you wonder about all the distinctions going on. What's the difference between a demon and a fallen angel? Is a 'demon' the soul of a fallen angel? When people say things like, oh, that woman is a jezebel, do they mean that there once was a fallen angel named jezebel and her detached demon spirit litterally attaches itself to 'women' now? Lots of unanswered questions about the spiritual. It's fun knowing that all of this spiritual stuff is very real (and mysterious) but also kind of makes me sad at the state of this 'science' worshipping, materialistic world we live in now. They have our spiritual powers jammed with all the fake airwaves. The prince of the power of the air is blocking our abilities with this stuff. I just recently saw someone point out how everyone just takes it for granted that in a few generations humans went from horse and buggy to solid state drives. Harldy anybody thinks it's strange. Well, that's enough of a tangent.

paul boasting about moderation

So the verse that caught my eye was: Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:5

Aren't we supposed to be humble and not boast about those type of things? Did I interpret that wrong? What are you disputes with Paul's writing? I'm very curious. It seems like some parts of Christianity worship Paul instead of Jesus.

I don't think you interpreted it wrong. I think Paul was extremely boastful! And I also agree that modern churches seem more like cults of paul rather than followers of Jesus.

Besides the bragging aspect, focusing on "moderation" reminds me of eastern buddhist ideas of the "middle path". To me it reminds me of lukewarm, and in the book of revelation Jesus says the lukewarm will be spat out. Being hot or cold is preferable to lukewarm.

I certainly don't recall Jesus saying things similar to this verse by paul. Paul constantly gave us his own gospel and even admitted that he has his own gospel. Paul references his own gospel 3 times! Romans 2:16; 16:25; II Timothy 2:8. So yeah, paul is a snake. A christian murderer who realised that compromising the religion was more sinister than outright murdering christians and making martyrs.

I find it really interesting that paul writes like this, and yet the catholic church claims he became a saint and whatnot after he got out of prison. We all know the catholic church has an agenda against humans. So, that's an interesting theory you have about Paul. Seems to make since. I also find it weird that they decided to put his personal letters to people in the Bible.

Notes: There's lots of info out there already on paul being a false apostle. I will eventually make my own page (unless Jesus comes back before I get around to it) on why I believe paul is a false apostle. But just search on google for paul being a false apostle and you will see it's not a fringe theory at all. Many people feel similarly about paul. In my opinion, paul was a big phoney megalomaniac who taught his own gospel and who frequently taught things and acted in ways in which Jesus would not approve.
